Opening an iMac is not something to improvise
On recent models the panel is glued to the chassis: opening it requires specific tools and purpose-made adhesive strips for reassembly. Without them the screen no longer sits properly and dust creeps in between the glass and the panel. That is why we advise against home disassembly, even for technically confident users.
iMac maintenance and repair
We work on the glass and the panel when they break, on hard drives and SSDs, on memory, the power supply and the cooling. Replacing the original drive with an SSD remains the single change that most radically transforms an iMac a few years old: the machine becomes responsive again, at startup and in daily use, for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.
We also handle the software side: macOS that will not start, a failed update, unexplained slowdowns, migration from an older Mac, setting up a Time Machine backup, recovering data from a drive that has become unreadable.
Every quote is free
We examine the machine and then give you a flat-rate repair price. The quote commits you to nothing: you then decide whether to go ahead. Our invoices are issued excluding VAT, with VAT added.
Your data stays private
During a repair we may need your account password to check that the replaced parts work, or to migrate your data to a new drive. No password is kept, and no device entrusted to us ever leaves our Lyon workshop.
One-year warranty
Every repair is covered for one year, excluding damage caused by a fall or an impact. We use original parts, usually in stock, which allows us to work quickly.
